IDA HILL, 87, SERVICES HELD

Funeral services for Ida Hannah Hill, 87, of Kellogg, who died Dec. 6, at St. Francis Manor in Grinnell, were held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 9, at the Kellogg United Methodist Church.

The Rev. Carl Klein, pastor of the church, officiated, and pallbearers included Wilbur Terpstra, Steven Witte, Paul Strovers, Clair Royce, Clifford Poots and Carl Griffith. Burial was at Our Silent City Cemetery, Kellogg.

The daughter of Lyman and Mary Evalene Meredith Bailey, she was born Nov. 13, 1887, in Jasper County. She was married to Clarence Hill on April 4, 1917, at Des Moines. Mrs. Hill was a member of the Kellogg United Methodist Church, the Kellogg Garden Club and the Methodist Women's organization.

She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Ruby Foglesong of Sioux Falls, S.D.; and Mrs. Wanda Stepp, Mrs. Wanetta Stepp and Mrs. Eleanor McGinnis, all of Kellogg; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a brother, Oral Bailey of Grinnell.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, three grandchildren, two brothers and four sisters.
