GRAVESIDE RITES FOR MR. ARNOLD

David P. Arnold, 70, of Kirkwood, Mo., formerly of Grinnell, died Friday afternoon at a nursing home in St. Louis, Mo.

Funeral services for Mr. Arnold were held today in St. Louis. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Hazelwood Cemetery. Friends may call the Smith Funeral Home for additional information.

The son of David and Nellie Palmer Arnold, he was born June 11, 1907, in Iowa. He was a field representative for Brown Shoe Co. in St. Louis and was a member of Kirkwood Masonic Lodge.

Survivors include his wife, Vivian; a daughter, Mrs. Margaret Blue; one grandchild; two sisters, Mrs. Ruth Sloan and Miss Carolyn Arnold; and a brother, Don Arnold of DeKalb, Ill.
