Louisa, wife of Wm. Applegate, died at their home a mile northwest of Searsboro, Tuesday morning, after an illness of only two days. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. D.F. Snyder of New Sharon, Wednesday afternoon, at 2 o'clock at the Christian church 3 miles east of Searsboro. Their many friends sympathize with them in their sad bereavement. Vina, the oldest daughter, was away at Brooklyn attending the Institute and in response to a telegram returned home, but her mother had passed away before she reached home. Those who attended the funeral from away were Mr. and Mrs. Bonewell of Montezuma, Mr. R. Hoyt and family and Mr. and Mrs. Jno. Rivers of Grinnell, Rev. Snyder and Mr. and Mrs. O. Stilwell of New Sharon.--Palladium.
