KENNETH D. LINEWEAVER

Funeral services for Kenneth D. Lineweaver of Hillside Apartments, Brooklyn, were held at 1:30 p.m., Monday, in the Nevenhoven Funeral Home. Mr. Lineweaver died Friday, August 6, 1982, in Grinnell General Hospital.

Rev. Lynn Williams, pastor of the United Presbyterian Church, officiated. The organist was Mrs. Nina Bartachek who played "In the Garden," and "What a Friend We Have in Jesus." Flower attendants were Ruth Benesh, Glenna Evans and Nancy Klein.

Casket-bearers were Loyal Benesh, Robert Evans, Darrell Klein, Jim Rhinehart, Max Montgomery and Rick Morrison. Interment was in the IOOF Cemetery, Brooklyn.

Kenneth D. Lineweaver, son of Walker and Floy Davidson Lineweaver, was born on October 12, 1908, in Poweshiek County, near Brooklyn. He received his education in a rural school in Bear Creek Township. He spent most of his life in the Brooklyn area where he farmed and worked for gas stations.

Mr. Lineweaver was united in marriage to Allene Keeney Doonan in Missouri on March 25, 1953. He was a member of the Brooklyn United Presbyterian Church.

Surviving are his wife, Allene, of Brooklyn; his children, Beulah, Mrs. Mike Buhrow of Laurel, Betty, Mrs. Dean Lippincott of Brooklyn, Kenneth J. Lineweaver of San Antonio, Texas, and Richard Lineweaver of Spencer; two step-sons, James L. Doonan of Maple Grove, Minn., and Jerry L. Doonan of Grinnell; 17 grandchildren, Dan Osborn, Dell Osborn, Kenny Lippincott, Colin Lippincott Keith Lippincott, Joy Lineweaver, Judy Lineweaver, Kenny Lineweaver, John Lineweaver, Machelle Lineweaver, Debbie Cordes, Jeanne Satterstrom, Teri Hahlen, Michael Doonan, Jill Wagner, Jan Doonan, Cole Lineweaver, and Eric Lineweaver; 12 great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. August (Vada) Renterghem.

He was preceded by his parents and one sister.
