LAST SERVICES FOR MRS. LLOYD HENDERSON WEDNESDAY MORNING

Despondent over the absence of her son Robert, who is serving in the United States Army, Mrs. Lloyd Henderson ended her life by shooting Friday evening at her home at 808 Summer street. Her body was found in the basement by her husband when he returned from his duties as janitor of the postoffice about 9 o'clock. A bullet from a 22 rifle had pierced her heart. The coroner, Dr. W.B. Phillips of Montezuma, viewed the body but decided that no inquest was necessary. Mrs. Henderson was a loving mother and a loyal wife. Her sad death is mourned by a large circle of friends.

Funeral services will be held from St. Mary's church at 10 o'clcok Wednesday morning with burial in Hazelwood cemetery. Robert was reached through the agency of the Red Cross at Camp Roberts, Calif., and is now on his way home.
