FORMER RESIDENT, JEFFERY CREAMER, DIES IN MOLINE

A former Grinnell resident, Jeffery Fanning Creamer, died Wednesday morning in Moline, Ill., after an illness of several years.

Rosary services will be held at 8 p.m. Friday at the Smith Funeral Home. Requiem High Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Catholic church with Rev. Leo V. Kuebrich officiating.

Music for the mass will be by Mrs. Wayne Dayton and Miss Wilma Schmitz. Organaist will be Mrs. L.W. Brock. Burial will be made in Calvary cemetery in Grinnell.

Rosary will also be held tonight (Thursday) at Moline and Mass will be held at St. Mary's church in Moline Friday morning.

Born in Washington township, Poweshiek county, on Sept. 1, 1899, Mr. Creamer was the son of Peter and Margaret Fanning Creamer. On Nov. 9, 1921, he was united in marriage with Ruth Essex in Grinnell.

He is survived by his wife and three children: Maurice of Chicago, Kenneth of Moline, and Mrs. Irene Zipin of Florida. He is also survived by two grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Francis (Mary) Schmitz of Grinnell.

Preceding him in death were his parents and one brother, Joseph.

Mr. Creamer lived on a farm south of Grinnell and then moved to Grinnell. He had lived in Moline for the past 28 years and was employed by the International Harvester Company.
