Cornelius W. Cox

Cornelius Cox died of quick consumption at the home of his mother in Carney row on State Street last Saturday morning and was buried in Hazelwood Cemetery yesterday morning, services being conducted from the U. P. Church at 10:00 o'clock by the Rev. W. W. Woodburn.

The deceased was born in Jasper County near Kellogg in 1873 but a larger part of his life has been spent here where he has made his home with his parents.

His mother and 2 sisters are the only relatives in Grinnell who survive him. The deceased had been ill for 6 months.
