FUNERAL SERVICES HELD.
Mrs. Arthur Baggs Was Buried Here Wednesday.
Funeral services for Mrs. Arthur Baggs, who died Monday evening in Des Moines, were held Wednesday afternoon from the home of Arthur Manatt, a brother of the deceased, conducted by Dr. W.C. Wasser. Music was furnished by Mrs. A.S. Ennis, and Mrs. E.A. Black. Pall bearers were W.J. Nelson, H.B. Westlake, C.H. Hanson, Russell Baggs, M.J. Garrigan and G.H. McMurray. Interment was in Hazelwood.
Mrs. Evah J. Baggs, wife of Arthur E. Baggs and mother of Louis E. Baggs was born near Brooklyn, Iowa, Nov. 11, 1865. She was married at Grinnell March 23, 1887. She was a daughter of George and Mary E. Manatt and a sister of Mrs. W.W. Stowe, Jeff Manatt, Elmer Manatt, Arthur L. Manatt and Clare Manatt. She died at Des Moines at 6:20 o'clock Monday afternoon, September 10. Mrs. Baggs scame to Grinnell in 1882 and spent most of her childhood and early married life at Grinnell.
