RALPH MORGART OF KELLOGG DIES AT KANSAS CITY, MO.

Kellogg, Iowa--Ralph John Morgart was born in Buena Vista township, Jasper county, Iowa, on April 24, 1896.

He died on October 12, 1918, at Kansas City, Missouri, where he had gone to school to prepare himself for special work for his country.

He had spent part of his time previous to this school, that he might be the better prepared for the duties of civil life.

In all his work he was thorough and conscientious, as those who knew him have witnessed.

The future held for him a place of prominence, but in preparation for his county's call he has given his life, and has won the place of honor.

He leaves a father, mother and one brother, Everett C., of Hamburg, Iowa, together with many relatives and friends, who mourn the loss of their loved one.

THe funeral services were held at the home of Richard Strovers, conducted by Rev. A.V. Hart, pastor of the Christian church. The remains were laid to rest in "Our Silent City."
