CHELSEA
--Marion Emery Force was born March 10, 1902, in Poweshiek county where he lived until 1914 when he moved to Illinois with his father and sister. They lived there till 1916 and then came back to Iowa. Marion left Chelsea April 1, 1922, going to Buffalo Lake, Minn., where he died July 13. Death was caused by quick consumption following an attack of measles. He is survived by his father, Thomas C. Force, of Chelsea, and two sisters, Mrs. Chas. Minnick, of Buffalo Lake, Minn., and Mrs. Clyde Wilkinson, of Chelsea. His mother died March 15, 1904. Funeral services were conducted at the Chelsea M.E. church at 2 o'clock, Tuesday, July 17, Rev. Edward McCann officiating. Interment was in Kent cemetery. Earl Force, John Hilligas, Thomas Hilligas, Carl Hilligas and Howard Brimmer, all cousins of the deceased, acted as pallbearers.
