OBITUARY

Marion Emery Force was born March 10, 1902, in Poweshiek county, where he lived until 1914, when he moved to Illinois with his father and sister. They lived there till 1916, moving back to Chelsea, where he lived till April 1, 1922, when he went to Minnesota where he resided until the date of his death, July 13, 1923, at the age of 21 years, 4 months and 3 days. He is survived by his father, T.C. Force, two sisters, Mrs. Chas. Minnick, of Stewart, Minnesota, and Mrs. Clyde Wilkinson, of Chelsea. Marion's mother preceded him in death March 15, 1904. Funeral services were held at the M.E. church Tuesday afternoon, with Rev. E. McCann in charge. Interment was in Kent cemetery. The pall bearers were cousins of the deceased: Carl Force, John Hilligas, Charles Hilligas, Thomas Hilligas, Carl Hilligas and Howard Brimmer.
