CONDUCT RITES FOR NOAH FORCE MONDAY
Last rites for Noah Force were conducted Monday morning at 10:00 a.m. in Coon Rapids and graveside services were held at Kent cemetery at 2:30 p.m. Coon Rapids IOOF lodge members were in charge of the services.
Mr. Force, 82, a former Brooklyn resident and retired farm worker, was killed at Coon Rapids last Firday afternoon when struck by a car as he stepped off a curb near a crosswalk. The driver, a high school senior, was unable to swerve enough to miss Mr. Force.
Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Frank Hilligas of Brooklyn, a brother, John Force of California, and a half-sister, Mrs. Luetta Brimmer of Brooklyn.
He was preceded in death by five brothers, two sisters and his wife, who died in 1900.
