CECIL K. RUPP
Cecil Rupp, 78, died Saturday, Jan. 17, at a Lebanon care center.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Jan. 20, at Huston Funeral Home, followed by a burial at Evergreen Memorial Park in McMinnville.
Macy Funeral Home at McMinnville and Huston Funeral Home were in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Rupp was born April 5, 1908, in Ross, N.D. where he attended school. He married Jeanette Willis on April 24, 1930, at Wolf Point, Mont.
He moved to Bend in 1940, where he worked at an ordinance plant during World War II. He also worked in a sawmill and was a mechanic at the Ford Garage.
In 1961, he moved to McMinnville and worked as a mechanic at the Vinton Larsen Dealership.
Mr. Rupp retired in 1980 and came to Lebanon.
He was an active member of Bend Eagles, Lebanon Senior Center and Moose Lodge.
His wife, Jeanette, preceded him in death in 1977.
Survivors include two daughters, Carol Ann Berry of Lebanon and Jeanie Hiday of Blue River; a son, Gerald Rupp of Milwaukie, and a sister, Naomi Wise of Lafayette.
NOTE: Cecil Rupp was the son of Emery Martin Rupp and Thankful Etta Force.
