PAULINE L. GRAHAM

Pauline L. Gwin Graham, 89, of Sumner, Wash., died Saturday, July 25, in Puyallup, Wash.

Funeral services for Pauline L. Graham were held on Saturday, July 26, at 9:30 a.m. at the Powers Funeral Home Chapel in Puyallup, with Pastor Mel Frank and Pastor Harold Roberts officiating. Music was provided by Dawn Abel on keyborards and Phyllis Austin Taylor, soloist. Entombment was in Woodlawn Abbey Mausoleum in Puyallup.

She was born on July 15, 1914, in Grinnell to Alma Fay Benton Gwin and Harrison Morton Gwin. She attended rural schools in Carnforth and at Davis Elementary in Grinnell. She graduated with the Grinnell School class of 1933.

She taught at the Uncle Sam's Club and worked at J.C. Penney Co. as a bookkeeper.

She and her husband, George Lester Graham, enjoyed travel and had visited most of the United States.

She is survived by her husband; one daughter, Janice Graham of Sumner, Wash.; and three sisters, Cathryn Gwin Souter of Grinnell, Lillian Gwin Rasmussen of Bellview, Neb., and Shirley Monsma of Altoona, Iowa. She is also survived by an extended family and warm friends.

Preceding her in death were her parents; two sisters, Lucille Lockhart and Harriet Braley; and one brother, Harry Gwin, Jr.
