LEONARD FISER
Granger, IA -- Leonard "Bill" Fiser, 69, of Granger died of a respiratory ailment Friday at Des Moines General Hospital. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday at Hamilton's Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Mitchellville Cemetery.
Mr. Fiser was born in Brooklyn. He had lived in Des Moines most of his life before moving to Granger in 1988. He retired from Firestone Tire and Rubber Co. after 27 years there. He was an Air Corps veteran of World War II.
Surviving are two sons, Jim and Dave, both of Des Moines; a sister, Phyllis Hansen of Victor; a brother, Wallace of Eldora; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Friends may call after 2 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
