E.P. RAYMOND DIES AT MINNEAPOLIS

Malcom, Jan. 23: Special to The Herald.

Word comes to the Herald of the death of E.P. Raymond, formerly a well known banker and business man at Malcom, but for several past years living at Minneapolis, Minn., at that place last Tuesday, Jan. 22. Temporary interment will be at Minneapolis but the body will be brought to Malcom in the spring for final interment in the family lot at Ivy Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Raymond was one of the early settlers of Malcom and was always active and untiring in his efforts to put Malcom on the map politically, socially and financially.

Mr. Raymond's father settled at Malcom when E.P. was but two years old, and here "Ed" stayed and succeeded in business until a few years ago when he moved to Minneapolis.
