C. VEVERKA DIED LAST THURSDAY

Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon, January 21, 1939 at the McAninch Funeral Home in Victor for Clarence Veverka, 29, who died Thursday night at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. W.J. Veverka.

He was assessor for Warren township and died after he returned home Thursday from his work as assessor. He had had poor health having been in the State University hospital for some weeks recently. His death came suddenly as he was thought to be improving. Clarence was born and raised in Warren township and had lived there all his life.
