LAST RITES HELD FOR MRS. PIMLOTT

Funeral services for Mrs. Martha Pimlott were conducted last Friday afternoon at two o'clock at Bramer's Funeral home, in charge of Robert W. Seath, minister of the Madison Church of Christ. Mrs. Ed Bartachek was organist. Burial was in Ivy Hill cemetery at Malcom, with Edmond Kibbee, Cliff Williamson, Ed Burk, H.B. McMullin, Owen Wenger and Carl Resche serving as pallbearers. In charge of flowers were Mrs. Ed Burk and Mrs. Cliff Williamson.

Mrs. Pimlott, 88, died last Wednesday morning at the Mt. Pleasant hospital where she had been a patient eleven months. She had been in failing health for several years.

Martha Margaret Billick, daughter of Julius and Lavina Billick, was born in Sheridan township June 26, 1869, and died April 9, 1958. When a small child she moved with her parents to Brooklyn where she attended school. She was married December 10, 1896, to Henry Pimlott in the home of her parents. Three children were born to the couple, Mrs. Sam (Alma) Graham of Grinnell, an infant son who died at birth and Harold, who died at the age of 12 years. The family lived near Malcom until retiring at which time they moved to Brooklyn. Following the death of her husband in 1939, Mrs. Pimlott continued making her home here until she became ill. She was baptised in the Christian Church and at the time of her death was a member of the Madison Church of Christ. She had also been a member of Rebekah lodge for many years.

She is survived by her daughter, one sister, Evalina, two grandchildren, Beecher Graham and Myrna Allen and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters, three brothers, two children and two grandsons.
