Joseph H. Fultz was born in Rockingham county, Va., January 11, 1959 and died at his home in Des Moines, December 31, 1917. He came to Iowa in the spring of 1883 and was united in marriage to Minnie C. Patten April 28, 1892 at Brooklyn, Ia. To this union were born six children, Mrs. Ada Hull of Oskaloosa, Mrs. Rosa Sommerville of Des Moines, Mable, Albert, Leroy and Helen all at home. Besides his loving wife and children he leaves to mourn his loss two grandchildren, two sisters and four brothers and many other relatives and friends. He has been employed at the Union depot for the last two years and his sudden death was a terrible shock to his many friends. His funeral was held at his late residence in Des Moines January 2, 1918. Interment at the Glendale cemetery.--Chronicle.
