LESTER C. HAPPY

Lester C. Happy was born at Brooklyn, Ia., October 30, 1886 and died at Cottage Grove, Ore. November 4, 1912, age 26 years and 5 days. He was married December 14, 1907 to Miss Elizabeth Affolter who with his parents survive him.

Lester was taken sick on October 22 of chronic lead poison and after a short illness of two weeks passed away. He united with the M.E. church about four years ago at Brooklyn and was still a member of the church. He was a member of the Knights of Pythias of Brooklyn and a member of the Moose lodge of Cottage Grove, Oregon.

The funeral service was held Wednesday November 13 at 2 o'clock at the M.E. church in Brooklyn, conducted by the pastor, Rev. F.C. Edwards. The body was interred in the I.O.O.F. cemetery.
