FUNERAL RITES FOR THOS. FORCE

Funeral services were held for Thomas C. Force, Tuesday, Dec. 21 at 2:00 p.m. at the Bramer funeral home. The Rev. W.W. Bentzinger conducted the service and Miss Thursia Manatt provided organ music. Interment was in the Kent cemetery, north of Brooklyn.

He died at the home of a daughter, Myrtle, with whom he had made his home for the past year at Aurora, Ill. Mr. Force had apparently been in good health. He died suddenly Dec. 18.

The son of Joseph G. and Mary A. Force, he was born in Madison township March 13, 1972. He spent most of his life in the vicinity of Brooklyn. He married Martha Phelps May 24, 1895* and to this union three children were born: two daughters, Mrs. Myrtle Minnick of Aurora, Ill., and Mrs. Mary Wilkinson of Hector, Minn.; and one son, Marion, who died prior to his father's death. His wife also preceded him in death.

In addition to his two daughters, those who survive are four brothers, two sisters, 13 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
