Fleming Thomas Orr, son of Robert and Mary Jane Brady Orr, was born October 7, 1887, near Brooklyn and died March 1, 1966, at his home in Brooklyn of a heart attack. He had been confined to his home for the past year.

In 1940 he was married to Bernice Hendricks in Brooklyn. One son, Frank, was born to the couple.

Mr. Orr was a member of the American Legion, the Volunteer Fire Department and Grace Methodist church. He has spent 56 years in the John Deere Implement business in Brooklyn.

Surviving are his son, Frank and a sister, Mrs. Mabel Lippincott, both of Brooklyn. He was preceded in death by his wife; parents; and one sister.

Funeral services were conducted Thursday, March 3 at 2:00 p.m. at Grace Methodist church in charge of the Rev. C.W. Woollard. Leo Shuler was organist.

Interment was in I.O.O.F. cemetery where military rites were accorded by the Francis Gallagher Post of the American Legion. Pallbearers were Ed Bartachek, Ernest Andes, Elwin Bush, William Simmons, Owen Wenger and Cliff Williamson. Flower attendants were Mr. and Mrs. Max Clayton and Mr. and Mrs. Gene Osborn.

NOTE: Fleming Thomas Orr was the son of Robert an Mary Jane Beatty, not Brady as stated in this obituary. Fleming Orr and Bernice Hendricks were married 05 Feb 1941 in Oskaloosa, Mahaska Co. Iowa.
