RUTH GILBERT HANLEY

Ruth Gilbert Hanley, daughter of Jud and Bertha Gilbert, was born in Grinnell, Feb. 20, 1903, and passed away Aug. 20, 1946, at Neosha, Mo. at the age of 43 years and six months. She leaves to mourn her passing her husband, Lee Hanley, three daughters, Carol, Jean and Shirley, two sons Kenneth and Wilbur Norris, her mother, Mrs. Jud Gilbert, brother, Sherman Gilbert, sister, Mrs. Murray Watkins and other relatives. Services were held Friday Aug. (23?) at 4:00 p.m. from James Funeral Home. Interment was in Hazelwood cemetery.

Pallbearers were Gene Gilbert, Max Gilbert, Robert Henderson, Don Henderson, Wm. Stevenson, and Tom McConkey.

NOTE: Ruth's death-cert. has death on Aug. 21, 1946. The place is Neosho not Neosha, Mo. Her daughters are Carol, Jean and Shirley "Cunningham." She and Lee Hanley had no children and the daughters father was Wm. F. Cunningham.
