GRINNELL, IA. - Irma Jeffrey of Grinnell died of pneumonia Friday at St. Francis Manor. She was 93. Services will be at 10 A.m. Monday at Smith Funeral Home. Burial will be in Pleasant Township Cemetery in Ewert.

Mrs. Jeffrey, a homemaker, was born near Ewert and lived in Poweshiek County all her life. She was a member of the Grinnell United Methodist Church.

Surviving are a daughter, Doris Hohl of Malcom; a sister, Jessie Gerard of Grinnell; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at the funeral home, where the family will visit with friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday. Memorial contributions may be made to her church or the nursing home. ~ The Des Moines (IA) Register February 1990
