HELEN L. PEDERSON

GRINNELL, IA. - Helen L. Pederson, 88, of Grinnell died of a stroke Thursday at St. Francis Manor. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Frist Presbyterian Church, of which she was a member. Burial will be at Hazelwood Cemetery.

Mrs. Pederson was born in Grinnell and lived in Poweshiek County most of her life. She was a homemaker and a member of the Farm Bureau and the Grinnell General Hospital Auxiliary.

Survivors include a daughter, Ruth Pederson-Romani of San Jose, Calif.; two sons, Paul of Grinnell and Karl of San Jose, Calif.; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Friends may call after noon today and Sunday at Smith Funeral Home here, where the family will be present from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Sunday. Memorial contributions may be made to her church or the American Heart Association.~ The Des Moines (IA) Register, September 26, 1991
