Charles O'Brien

Charles Edward O'Brien, 54, of Huntington Beach, Calif., a native of Grinnell, died June 19 in Huntington Beach.

Funeral services were conducted June 25 at Westminster Memorial Park in Huntington Beach, with burial there.

Mr. O'Brien was born June 4, 1937, in Grinnell.

He is survived by his mother, Josephine Ryle of Grinnell; his wife, Helen of California; four children, Kathy, Patty, Rick and Mike, all of California; two grandchildren; and two brothers, James of Florida and Jack of Washington state. He was preceded in death by his father.
