John Doonan Feeling Well After Illness

--John Doonan, 97 years old, who makes his home with his daughter, Mrs. John Schoales, in Newton, is feeling real well again after his illness of a few weeks ago. He walked to town several days ago for a haircut. Mr. Doonan certainly enjoys his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and likes to have them with him. Mr. Doonan, when living here, would go fishing practically every day during the summer, driving a faithful team and buggy. He very seldom came home without at least one or two.--Montezuma Republican.
