EDDIE ANDERSON
PLANS A RETURN
TO AUTO RACING

Eddie Anderson, Grinnell's auto racing ace of pre-war days, has rejoined the American Racing association after an intermission due to army service and other activities. A membership in this association is considered an honor as only drivers of topflight calibre are accepted. In rejoining the association it is Eddie's hope to enter the Indianapolis track competition, an ambition which he has cherished for a long time. His racing plan calls for a specially built racer to be powered by an Offenhauser motor, which is recognized as being the best obtainable for racing purposes. The actual construction of the car will be taken care of by Eddie himself, assisted by his staff of mechanics. If Eddie's future success as a race driver can be judged by his past performances, Grinnell has a good chance of having a winner at Indianapolis some day.
