Mr. and Mrs. Gene Gilbert of Leon, Ia. announce the engagement of their daughter, Barbara to Edward Dunbar, son of Mr. and Mrs. Max Dunbar of Lamoni, Ia. The Gilberts are former Grinnell residents.

Grandparents of the bride-elect are Mr. and Mrs. H.F.S. Timm of Grinnell and Mrs. Frances Gilbert of New Sharon.

Miss Gilbert is a student at Southwestern Community College in Creston. Mr. Dunbar attends Graceland College of Lamoni.
