Kimberly Gersdorf, 33, of 1520 Prairie St., Grinnell, died Sunday, March 21, at her home.
Grinnell police received a 911 call at 3:22 p.m., and upon arrival they found her body in the garage, an apparent suicide.
"Investigation into the matter at this time indicates no foul play was involved," said Sgt. Randy Hanssen.
A memorial service was conducted Thursday at the Watts Funeral Home in Montezuma. The body was cremated, and burial of the ashes was at Jackson Township Cemetery.
A memorial fund has been established.
