Four Brooklyn young people were united in marriage in a double wedding performed in Des Moines by Rev. James T. Nichols. The grooms are brothers, Paul and Lester Patten. Miss Rose E. Triplett, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Monsieur Triplett, became Mrs.. Paul Patten and Miss Gladys Calkins, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R.E. Newton, became Mrs. Lester Patten.
