LOST ARM LAST DAY OF WAR
-----------------------------------------
Willis Gott Goes Through Here This Morning Wearing Empty Sleeve--Just Arrived From France.

Willis Gott, who recently arrived at Camp Dodge from overseas, passed through here this morning on his way to Montezuma to visit his relatives. He has an empty sleeve as he lost an arm in action in France the day before the armistice was signed. He is home on sick leave and does not expect to be released from the hospital for several weeks, until the government provides him with an artificial arm.
