The Montezuma (IA) Democrat; Feb. 28, 1899

MARRIED

At the residence of Mr. John S. Beeler in Washington township, Poweshiek county, Iowa, Feb. 22, 1899, Mr. Lewis A. Windherst and Miss Ida May Beeler, in the presence of many of their friends. Mr. Windherst is one of Poweshiek county's best young men, a man of good habits, industrious and of a good business qualification. As to his choice in starting in life, it could not be surpassed. Miss May Beeler is an accomplished lady, well fitted and prepared to meet the requirements and obligations of a married life. Having attended the college at Grinnell, Iowa, she has a fine education and literary attainments, and is a Christian lady.

After the service all were invited to the large dining room, where a spacious table was filled with all that heart could wish, having been prepared by Sister Beeler and daughters, who understand how to meet demands of this kind.

This couple will move for the present to Iowa county, Iowa. May their path in life be smooth. The young people all join in bidding them God-speed. They were married by S. Quick, Minister.
