MARJORIE RYAN MARRIES FRANCIS CANNON APRIL 25

Miss Marjorie Ryan, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Ryan of Brooklyn, and Mr. Francis Cannon, son of Mrs. Anna Cannon of Victor, were married Thursday morning, April 25 at St. Michael's church in Belle Plaine. The Rev. E.S. Flynn officiated at the nuptial mass.

Mrs. Arthur Bird provided appropriate nuptial music and Miss Kathryn Dohn sang "Ave Maria."

The bride wore a white wool flannel suit. Her corsage was of pink roses.

The bridesmaid, Mrs. Maurice Martin, wore a brown gaberdine suit and a corsage of pink roses.

Mr. Maurice Martin served as best man.

The bride, who is a graduate of Brooklyn high school in 1942, has been employed as a beautician in the Mildays Beauty Shoppe at Belle Plaine for the past year and a half.

The groom, a graduate of Victor high school in 1938, served in the army in the Pacific theatre for a length of time. He is now employed in construction work with the Tennessee Valley Authority at Baxter, Tenn. where the couple will live.

Among the relatives attending the wedding were the following: Mrs. Joe Ryan and Max, Mrs. Jennie Ryan, Mrs. Florence Ihler and Mrs. E.J. Stirniman all of Brooklyn; Mrs. Rolla Smith and son and daughter, Mrs. Marvin Gass of Montezuma and Mrs. Wallace Ryan and Lyle of Hartwick.
