WEST-CANNON NUPTIALS

The marriage of Miss Catherine West of Malcom and Manus J. Cannon of New Boston, Ill., was solemnized at St. Patrick's church in Brooklyn Saturday morning, June 20 at 9 o'clock with the Rev. E.W. Barron officiating at the Nuptial Mass. Attendants of the couple were Miss Margaret West, sister of the bride, and Francis Cannon, brother of the groom.

The bride wore a white lace net dress with a white hat. Her arm bouquet was of bridal flowers. Miss West wore a rose gown and carried a bouquet of summer flowers. The groom and his attendant were attired in light gray suits.

Mrs. Cannon is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Amos West of Malcom. She completed her high school course in Malcom and had been teaching school for several years. She is a young lady of much charm and possesses a pleasing personality.

Mr. Cannon, a son of Mrs. Nellie Cannon of Victor, is well known in this community. He graduated from St. John's high school in Victor in 1925. He has held various positions in and near Victor and at present he is bookkeeper for the Massman Construction company at New Boston, Ill.

Many relatives and friends attended the wedding. Immediately following the ceremony, the bride and groom and their attendants partook of a wedding breakfast at the bride's home, after which the newlyweds left for New Boston where they will make their home.
