NURSING HOME HONORS LATE 'JACK' HIMSCHOOT

A bronze tablet, honoring the memory of John C. (Jack) Himschoot was installed last week in the entrance hall of Brookhaven Nursing Home here.

The 8x11 inch plaque, designed and produced by a Chicago firm, carries this message: "Dedicated in grateful appreciation of the generosity of John C. Himschoot, 1898-1968."

During the financing phase of the nursing home in 1966, Mr. Himschoot purchased a $10,000 block of 20-year debenture notes to aid the project.

After his death last year, it was learned that his will provided for the gift of his entire $10,000 holdings to the nursing home corporation.
