GILBREAITH-WATTS

Mr. and Mrs. Sherman Watts of Barnes City announce the marriage of their daughter, Vema, to Edward L. Gilbreaith, son of Mr. and Mrs. George L. Gilbreaith of Montezuma. The ceremony took place at the Christian parsonage in Lancaster, Mo., on Feb. 18, 1940.

Mrs. Gilbreaith graduated from the Barnes City high school in 1937 and from the Waterloo School of Beauty Culture. She has since been employed at Lockard's shop in New Sharon. Mr. Gilbreaith graduated from the Montezuma high school in 1936 and is employed at the Winborn Hatchery in Montezuma.

The couple will reside in New Sharon.
