A.J. BLAKELY ON COMMITTEE

A.J. Blakely of Grinnell has been named on the state 4-H committee for the campaign this week in which thousands of farm boys and girls in every county in Iowa will take the field to cover rural districts in a new phase of the statewide infantile paralysis campaign. The objective of the campaign is to raise funds to enlarge hospital facilites to care for the large waiting list of boys and girls who have not been able to receive the newly developed Kenny treatment and to provide training for nurses and technicians so that at least one nurse from each county will be trained to give immediate treatment to victims of the disease.
