ISAAC FLEENER, EWART TRAPPER, IS ROBBED OF FURS

Montezuma Republican: Isaac Fleener, who has been trapping in the vicinity of Ewart and had accumulated a nice bunch of furs, about seventeen in number, found them missing Friday morning. The furs were hanging out to cure. Some time Thursday night a trapper evidently without traps, who discovered an easy way to get into the fur business, took the whole outfit and hiked. A few clews were left behind and if the officers succeed in running down the thief, Mr. Fleener thinks he will find it about as easy to break into jail as into the fur business.
