MONTEZUMA FATHER LOSES SECOND SON IN FOREIGN SERVICE
Word has come to Will Davis, formerly of Montezuma, who is now employed in Tennessee by the government, of the loss of a second son to die in the armed forces overseas, Forrest Davis, a paratrooper, who was killed in a plane crash on Dec. 12, at Newburg, England.
Another son, Pvt. Eldon Davis, gave his life on Aug. 3, during the invasion of France.
Besides their father, the boys are survived by their grandmother, who reared them, Mrs. Mary Snook of Montezuma, a brother living in Montezuma and another brother in Phoenix, Ariz. The boys are nephews of Mrs. Lewis Sampson of Grinnell.
