Grinnell Herald (Grinnell, Iowa) March 11, 1924

Bert Abel's team of horses ran away Friday noon, when they became frightened at a railroad train, while Mr. Abel was delivering milk on South Park street. When the team crossed the track the milk wagon swung into a Ford coupe causing some damage to the car and to Bert's milk bottles. When the wagon hit the post in front of Mrs. P.C. Brannen's resident, near Hotel Monroe, the team was stopped.
