Norris letter written from Cuba (1918)

The Grinnell Herald (Grinnell, Iowa) Sept. 6, 1918

J.W. Norris tells us that he received a letter Tuesday from his son, Raymond, written in Cuba. He said the water is fine. He liked being in it. Just to tempt his folks, he said bananas were ten cents a dozen there. He is on a freighter.
