At the pleasant home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. J.A. Maxwell, residing north of Malcom, Wednesday evening, Jan. 28th, 1903, at 8 o'clock occurred the marriage of their daughter, Miss Cora, to Mr. Forest Rector of Malcom. Forty-two guests were assembled, nearly all of whom were relatives of the bride and groom.

As Miss Margaret Watson rendered the wedding march the happy couple preceded by the officiating minister, Rev Mr. Tanner, presented themselves where in a few well chosen words they were pronounced husband and wife.

The bride was handsomely attired in white organdie trimmed with ribbon insertion and tucks made slightly entrained and carried a bouquet of white carnations.

The groom was attired in conventional black and appeared to the best advantage.

At the conclusion of the ceremony and congratulations the guests were all seated and a three course supper was served by the Misses Leanne Royce, Margaret Watson and Mrs. Athelia Watson to which all did ample justice and all went merry as a marriage bell.

Many beautiful presents testified to the esteem in which this young couple are held. The bride has been successfully engaged in dress making for the past year and her many friends and high attainments attest her good qualities.

The groom is an exemplary and energetic young man. May their home be the scene of happiness, peace and prosperity is the wish of their hosts of friends.
