BEN FOSTER FAMILY PICNIC

The Ben Foster family picnic was held in the American Legion Hall here Sunday. A total of 81 relatives were present for the noon dinner, after which the group spent the afternoon visiting.

The family presented Mr. and Mrs. H.A. Chenoweth a farewell gift. Mr. and Mrs. Chenoweth will leave Grinnell August 6 for Alhambra, Calif., where they will make their future home.

Those present from Grinnell were Mr. and Mrs. Fenton Foster, Mr. and Mrs. John H. Harter, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Foster, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Foster, Ralph Foster, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Foster, Vern and Verl Shook, Mr. and Mrs. Berkley Gould and two daughters and Mr. and Mrs. John J. Harter and four children.

Mr. and Mrs. Carl Binegar and two boys, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Wallis and three children, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Neff and three children, Mrs. William E. Chedester, Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Johnson and five girls, and Mr. and Mrs. Chenoweth, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Foster and three children and Mrs. Floyd Barr and two children of Kellogg.

Others were present from Marshalltown, Laurel, Ottumwa and Oskaloosa. Mrs. George Bliven was present from Mauteca, Calif.
