Some 1918 Influenza Deaths

Montezuma (IA) Republican; Dec. 26, 1918

The deadly influenza still exacts heavy toll from this locality, although the deaths are less numerous than last week. Since our last issue the following have fallen victims of the deadly disease: Miss Blanche Baird and Cecil Byers south of town, Neely Brimmer north of town and Mrs. Lulu Miller and Mrs. Albert Workman northwest of town. Physicians are of the opinion that the epidemic has passed its worst stage and that conditions are improving.
