TAKES SOME HORSE MEDICINE BY MISTAKE; IT ALMOST KILLS HIM
Deep River, Oct. 14.--William Churchill, who lives east of town, while in town Friday evening, took poison by mistake. He had some tablets in his pockets to use on horses' sore necks. He also had some tablets he had secured from the doctor for himself and unconsciously took the wrong tablets. He discovered his mistake at once and hurried to Dr. Gunn's office where he was treated. He was given the whites of eggs to help kill the poison. He was in a serious condition for a time.
