MR. AND MRS. A. HAPPY OBSERVE ANNIVERSARY
Thursday, April 6 marked the 60th anniversary of the marriage of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Happy. They were married in Brooklyn on April 6, 1884 by Dr. I.N. Busby at the Busby home. Harry Warnick and Alice McKnight were witnesses at the wedding.
Minnie Colvin was born in Potsdam, N.Y., and when sixteen years of age came to Brooklyn where she has since made her home. Mr. Happy was born in Brooklyn and has lived here continuously.
Mr. and Mrs. Happy lived in the Fullerton property a few years, on the Emory Happy farm for 21 years and in the Mrs. C.E. Brooks property for 35 years. Mr. and Mrs. Happy had one daughter who died in infancy and one son who died in 1912.
