FORMER RESIDENTS WED ON MAY 14

Miss Lillian Gwin, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H.M. Gwin of Grinnell, and George Rasmussen, son of Mr. and Mrs. I.S. Rasmussen, also of Grinnell, were united in marriage Wednesday, May 14, in Kahoka, Mo. Witnessing the wedding ceremony were the couple's attendants, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest George of Burlington.

The bride, who chose for her marriage a beige street length frock with brown accessories, was graduated from the Grinnell High school in 1940. At present she is employed in the Walgreen Drug store in Burlington.

Mr. Rasmussen was also graduated from the local high school and attended Grinnell college the past year. He now has employment in Burlington, where the couple have established their home at 102 South Central avenue.
