SAMPSON-DAVIS

At the home of Mr. and Mrs. J.N. Davis in south west Grinnell at seven o'clock Wednesday evening, occurred the marriage of Mr. Lewis Sampson and Miss Garnet Davis, the Rev. J.M. McClelland performing the ceremony. It was a quiet family wedding, none but a very few of the relatives of the two families being present. The guests from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Steele of Forest Home and Mrs. S. Pegram formerly of Decatur, Ill. Mr. and Mrs. Sampson are both well known here where they grew to maturity. They have a large circle of friends who congratulate them on their happy marriage. Mr. and Mrs. Sampson will be at home to their friends at 715 East St.
