New Sharon is gaining nation-wide fame through the unique accomplishments of two groups of citizens, the "Hawkeye Hikers" and "Hawkeye Boosters." The former, E.V. Mitcheltree and Harry Bryan are going afoot, and the latter, Mr. and Mrs. B.F. Stonehocker and Mr. and Mrs. Henry Stonehocker, are driving mule teams, both bound for the Panama-Pacific exposition in San Francisco, California.--New Sharon Star.
